Then in Xerox, after setting up a new invoicing department for invoice control, he was moved to collections. Soon he was asked to start a new sales division to create distribution for office equipment. After five years at Xerox, he became a stock broker for a nation-wide brokerage firm. When a stock broker builds his business, he starts with nothing except a desk and a phone. He takes a high risk that he can build a client base. John built his fast enough to be able to buy this multi-national franchise.
